A player is strictly prohibited from volleying the ball while standing in or touching the kitchen boundary lines.
A common beginner fault occurs when a player hits a legal volley in the air outside the kitchen, but forward momentum carries their foot, paddle, or hat into the kitchen zone afterwards. Mastering soft 'dink' shots that force opponents to hit upward is the core strategy taught in our academy.
